Kodanad: The World Cup soccer fever that has gripped every village and town of north Kerala has to be seen to be believed. Football-crazy fans in Kodanad are in tune with the beginning on June 11, holding road shows and erecting flex boards of players. .   Click here to see more pictures

A bike rally arranged by Brothers Sports Club & Spiderline Sport Club with different team fans to welcoming the Fifa 2010. The rally started from Kodanad to Koottanad, Mezhathur, Thrithala and neighboring region.

The Malabar region in Kerala, especially the Kodanadans in Palakkad district, is virtually ‘mad’ about the quadrennial sporting extravaganza and are put posters in the streets and villages.

Colourful flex boards and Flags of different teams of Argentina, Brazil, France, England, and Spain have been put up in the Kodanad ahead of the tournament.

A public meeting was held ahead of the World Cup in Kodanad by Brothers Sports Club & Spderline Members to support the various teams.
